lavender scent
filling the room
we're alone in the kitchen
can they smell it a mile off?
i'm sat in your room;
sat on the floor
that smell's not so strong here
strangeness fills the air
stale; suffocating
i hope we're stagnating
maybe we'd rather not move past this
and let that lavender decay.
